Appearancesis a glass sculpture that takes full advantage of the optical properties of glass. It is basically an architectural effort at creating shape is a very dynamic way. Two flattened prisms are affixed to the central colored core composed of two colors of dichroic glass combined with leaded glass, which together create surfaces which refract, refract, and change the inherent vibrancy of the whole. It measures 11″ x 11″ x 5″ and is affixed to a plate glass circle that sits in the recessed top of the spinning anodized aluminum base.
