Aquamarine Svoura
A Svoura is an ancient Greek top, the oldest known child’s toy. I’m taking an antiquity and making it contemporary, combining the ancient and the new, especially in that it’s now made of glass and in a way that the Greeks couldn’t fathom. It’s an optical delight and brings out a childlike fascination as it spins on it’s anodized aluminum base. Dimensions: 8″ x 6″ x 6″.
