An interplay of reds and blues that reminds me of the midsummer sun in Scandinavia, with the deep blue night sky and the red hue of the never setting sun on the horizon. The inner cube is composed of filter and dichroic glasses, with sandblasted and painted graphics providing other colors. It’s encased in optical crystal and then fashioned into the oloid shape by hand, very slowly over a day. A wonderful display of color and optics.
