Cerulean Helix Oloid
Cerulean Blue is the color them of this piece in the Oloid Series, a shape I first saw in wood at a gallery in Zurich, designed by a Swiss mathematician. I’m the first to make it in glass. The interior cube is composed of various optical crystal glasses and then is wrapped in clear crystal and ground and shaped by hand. The colors and shapes bend and morph as it spins on it’s anodized aluminum and Corian base. Dimensions: 11″ x 6″ x 6″.
