In the Light Vessel Series, this piece is a combination of blown and constructed forms. The top is blown and cut and polished and then affixed to the lower cylinder, which is constructed of opaque and optical glasses and shaped and finished on a lathe. The intention is to bring the colors up into the upper form, which then delights as it spins on it’s spinning anodized aluminum base. Dimensions: 18″ x 8″ x 6″.
