Crisscross Blues Cube measures 9″ x 9 ” x 9″ and is adhered to the prongs on the spinning anodized aluminum base. The dynamic colors are nestled in a construct of colorful optical quality glasses, including leaded, non-leaded, and dichroic. In the ten week process the interior cube is fashioned and then clear optical crystal is added until it takes on a cube shape. It’s then ground and polished by hand to 90 degree angles. The reflectivity and refraction of the glasses creates a wonderful array of angles and images.
