Appearances (11x11x8) is a sculptural piece designed around the refracting and reflecting qualities of optical crystal. Images appear and disappear as the piece turns quietly on the spinning anodized aluminum base. Colors dance around and morph in the process. Appearances is affixed to a glass circle that sits into the recessed top of the base.
