I Cube

This deconstructed cube (11x11x9) shows what glass can do with an interior construction composed of dichroic, leaded, and non-leaded glasses combined in a rectilinear way.  First the inner cube is created and then clear glass is added a step at a time until a cube is formed.  It's then cut in half on the diagonal and reassembled with an optical wedge separating the two halves.  It's then ground and polished on the bottom and affixed to a plate glass circle that fits into the recessed top of the anodized aluminum base.
