Minoan Blues (10x10x11) was commissioned by a collector in Florida through Shaw Gallery in Naples. They enjoyed my use of Greek and Minoan alphabets sandblasted on the interior dichroic glasses. As I often use a blue color palette, they requested that also. They were delighted with the resulting deconstructed cube sculpture in the "I Series". The blue and magenta combine to create violets and hues thereof. The two halves are reconstructed with an optical wedge between them. The piece is then adhered to a circle of plate glass which fits into the recessed top of the spinning anodize aluminum base.
