This sculpture (8x8x8) is a study in color and optics.  Graphics are sandblasted onto the red dichroic glass that is combined with leaded and non-leaded glasses to create the angular center section.  As the piece turns the straight lines become curved lines and the color morphs from red to orange to amber.  The two optical crystal cones surround the center section and allow the sculpture to be affixed upright to the plate glass circle that sits in the recessed top of the spinning anodized aluminum base.  It's a metaphor for how we see things in our lives, that they can change and change depending on our point of reference and the time of our lives.
