This sculpture (10x10x10) is a deconstructed cube composed of tinted blue glass and two colors of dichroic glass, in conjunction with leaded and non-leaded glasses. The cube is cut in half and reassembled with a wedge of optical glass between the two halves. It's affixed to a circle of plate glass that slips into the recessed top of the spinning anodized aluminum base. Besides just creating an interesting shape, the colors of this piece are bold yet soothing, and they bring the attention into the center and fill it with delight and peace.
