Triptych in Blues (14x14x9) is a deconstructed cube rearranged in a sculptural fashion to create a sense of suspension and movement. A cube with an interior composed of filter and dichroic glasses as well as leaded and non leaded glasses is encased in clear crystal. Then it is trisected and reassembled at various angles using two pieces of optical plate glass as the canvas. The bottom is then ground and adhered to a glass plate that fits into the recessed top of a quietly spinable anodized aluminum base.
